Dr. Shushrut B. Bhavi is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon with over 15 years of expertise in the field, dedicated to serving the people of Bagalkot.
He completed his MBBS from S. Nijalingappa Medical College, Bagalkot, under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 2007. He then pursued his postgraduate specialization in Orthopedics (M.S. Orthopedics) at Shri Basangouda Mallangouda Patil Medical College, Hospital, and Research Center, Vijayapura, graduating in 2013. Further enhancing his expertise, he completed a fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery in Mumbai.
Dr. Bhavi has performed a wide range of complex orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements of the hip, knee, and shoulder. He has extensive experience in managing complex trauma cases, including fractures of the upper and lower limbs, hand surgeries, and pelvic-acetabular reconstructions. His expertise also extends to pediatric fracture surgeries and deformity correction procedures such as congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) and developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH).
